In memory of Prof. Eugenio Guglielmino.

On Thursday 30 January, at 10:00 a.m., in the Aula Magna of the Department of Engineering, a day will be dedicated to the memory of Prof. Eugenio Guglielmino, former Director of the Department, who passed away suddenly in January 2024. A leading figure on the academic scene and a promoter of educational and sports initiatives, the professor supported and encouraged the birth of the Messina Energy Boat team, founded in 2022.

During the event, colleagues, students and collaborators will speak about the profound impact Prof. Guglielmino has had on their personal and professional lives. Anecdotes, experiences and significant moments that testify to his extraordinary contribution to innovation, education and the growth of the academic community will be shared.

The MEB team will participate in the event, which will be a significant moment to honour the memory of a professor who was a point of reference, an example and an inspiration to all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
